Sensory Equipment

Sensory equipment helps those who have difficulties with sensory processing. Weighted vests, weighted blankets, and compression vests provide deep pressure, calming the nervous system and giving a sense of security and grounding. The motion created by a variety of sensory swings can calm or alert the nervous system, improve strength, balance, body awareness, even eye contact and communication. All of the sensory equipment we make at Special Needs Solutions is made in consultation with the therapist and family, and is custom designed to fit the needs of the individual.
